Dr. Mohamed Ramadan is the Managing Partner of OGH Legal in Egypt. He is a senior corporate lawyer with over 20 years of experience advising clients on the full range of corporate services, including M&A, commercial contracts, due diligence matters, corporate governance, corporate restructurings, general corporate advisory matters, as well as labor and employment.
Dr. Mohamed has particular experience advising clients in the life sciences, healthcare and pharmaceutical sector and has built a solid reputation as one of the go-to lawyers in the Pharma industry. He also advises clients in the financial institutions, energy, construction, transport and manufacturing sectors. His practice largely focuses on advising on day-to-day corporate matters for clients, as well as civil law and international trade law matters.
Prior to OGH Legal, Dr. Mohamed was a Partner and Head of the General Corporate Practice at one of the leading law firms in Cairo, as well as a Senior Associate in the Corporate and Dispute Resolution Practice at another international law firm in Cairo. He continues to deliver lectures in a Professor capacity at several leading Egyptian universities, including Cairo University, the American University in Cairo, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and the Police Academy. He is the author of several books and articles, and has been awarded many accolades from legal directories and awarding bodies.
Dr. Mohamed is admitted to both the New York Bar and the Egypt Bar, and speaks English and Arabic fluently. He has enjoyed scholarships at esteemed institutions such as the Hague Academy of International Law, the Max Planck Institute in Germany and the British Council Scholarship.
Dr. Mohamed has experience in contentious matters as he handled a number of high level and complex litigation and arbitration matters in the automotive industry, oil and gas, Tourism, Construction, Pharmaceuticals, commercial matters and so forth.

- Lead Counsel on providing general corporate advisory works to a number of multinational companies operating in Tourism, Visa Processing, Automotive, Oil and Gas and manufacturing industries.
- Lead counsel to a multinational company on leasing the chain of Commercial Stores in Egypt to a large local company.
- Lead counsel to a multinational company on its acquisition of 100% shares of a group of local companies in the field of maritime and shipping including a corporate restructuring of the group prior to the acquisition.
- Lead counsel to a multinational company in all its operations in Egypt in relation to visa processing services.
- Lead counsel to a large Saudi company in the acquisition of three companies in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya.
- Lead counsel to one of the biggest commercial banks on its finance agreement with international financial institutions.
- Lead counsel on the sale of assets for a large pharmaceutical company to another multinational nutrition company in Egypt as part of 11 billion dollars global deal.
- Lead counsel on the restructuring of a number of pharmaceutical companies in Egypt.

- Successfully advised, represented and defended a major steel company in its complex dispute with a steel competitor before the Industrial Development Authority.
- Handling all post-merger filings for numerous clients before the Egyptian Competition Authority
- Advised and drafted standard lease and sale contracts for a number of real estate companies.
- Advised and drafted standard lease and sale contracts for a large construction and development company.
- Advise clients on compliance and non-compliance with WTO obligations in relation to Egypt, United States and other foreign countries.
Arbitration and Litigation Practice
- Handled complex litigation in IP matters such as Patent infringements and Nullity actions.
- Handled a major dispute against the Egyptian Government in relation to WTO obligations and its interpretation.
- Counsel of the Claimant on an arbitration case with a value of 150 Million USD involved a multinational pharmaceutical company before the ICC.
- Counsel of the Respondent on an arbitration case before CRCICA concerning a construction project at Cairo Airport.
- Counsel of the Claimant on an arbitration case before CRCICA concerning a refinery project.
- Counsel of the Claimant on an arbitration case before CRCICA concerning breach of a subcontracting agreement.
